Call for Spain: Luis de la Fuente introduces 15 novelties in his first list and recovers Aspas and Nacho | Sports

The Spanish soccer coach, Luis de la Fuente, has made public this Friday his first list of summoned for his debut on the bench. It is a revolutionary call-up, in which it only retains 11 footballers from those who played in the World Cup in Qatar and recovers veterans like Iago Aspas and Nacho.

Among the 15 novelties introduced by De la Fuente, there are also footballers he knows well from the under-21s, such as Dani Ceballos and Mikel Merino. In presenting the list, the coach highlighted that he has called “players who have had a great career over the years in the different categories” of the national team.

Spain will play on the 25th in Malaga against Norway (20.45, La1) and on the 28th in Glasgow against Scotland (20.45, La1), the two games that open the qualifying phase for Euro 2024, which will be played in Germany .
