The music is by composer Jae-il Jung (Parasite, Squid Game).
While the film will take inspiration from the novel, some scholars say that given Bong’s past experiences with adaptations, his version could be different from the novel’s. The novel’s story follows Mickey7, who is a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the frozen world of Niflheim. Whenever there is a mission that is too dangerous, even suicidal, the crew turns to this character. After he dies, he regenerates a new body with most of his memories intact. After six deaths, the protagonist understands the terms of his deal and why he was the only vacant colonial position when he took it.
